The Background

How do you present a city on the web? It’s 800 years of history and culture, it’s current administration and most important of all - it’s identity. How do you structure all this information and make it both usable for citizens and appealing to guests? And vice versa, of course. This was a big project.

The Success

After launch, Osijek.hr received web award from leading Croatian IT magazine VIDI. It was three years ago. Without any major structural and design interventions, this website is still recognized as one of the best city portals in Croatia. Recently it was featured on major Croatian web portal Tportal. Quite a success for such an old website in ever-changing e-environment.
