The Story
Business Incubator BIOS was established with the goal of setting up a support center for small and medium-size enterprises.
BIOS services are intended for new entrepreneurs and for small and medium-sized enterprises not more than one year old which are in production or production-related services businesses. These businesses need to show the growth potential and prospects for new employment in the near future.
Services that BIOS offers are: organizational and business consulting assistance, preferential business facilities lease price (50% of the market value of the rent during up to 5 years for production business activities or up to 3 years for production-related service businesses), expert lectures, participation in domestic and foreign fairs, administrative and marketing services, help in finding additional financial resources,….
Production facilities are on 1000 m2 which are rented for start-up companies, and currently there are 14 companies with more than 50 employees.
At this time the utilization of incubator’s capacity is on 95%. Due to more and more requests for admission in the BIOS as well as it’s need for development, BIOS sees it’s future in Construction of the III production hall (on 2000 m2) trough the Project Phare 2005 - Business -related Infrastructure pre-accession fund.
Construction of the Third hall would increase incubator’s capacity for admission of new manufacturing companies and at the construction of a facility designed to foster the development of high-tech companies as well as SME development.
