Cold calling for business growing
Very scary name for something that is very usefull for your business. If your plan is to grow your business then this scary name is something that you have to do in your firm on daily basis. You have to make list of your potential clients, find their phone numbers, sit by your phone, call them and offer them your product or service. But, isn’t that cruel or even cold thing to do? Not if you do some of the things below.
1. Try not to be “cold”
Call you potential clients (further in text, clients) when you have the most of working energy, or when you think that you are the happiest man on the earth. Don’t let your clients think that they are talking with the dead man or even a zombie. Span your energy through phone lines.
2. Prepare
Search Google, local portals, newspapers, magazines, anything that you think that you can find some informations of your client. When you talk to your client you can share him some informations that you found. “Oh, I see that you just won a prize for the best enterprenuer in your business. Congratulations. But, now you need a quality web site for your business, and it just your good luck that we called you…”
3. Prepare, again
Prepare your first words that you will say to your client. It is very important. Write them on paper, or on computer. Repeat them in front of your computer monitor several times and try to memorize them. You have abou 20 seconds to get your clients attention, so try to use them in the best way you can.
4. Secretaries or maybe gatekeepers
They should be your best friends.
5. Do it again
If client tells you that you call him in the month or two, because they are very busy right now, do it. Call them again, remind them that you are still there, and that you didn’t forget what they told you.
So, once again, for the conclusion, don’t give up. Call, call, call…there are thousdans of potential clients. You need just couple of them to start gorwing your business.
